We are a community of believers who love Christ and focus on learning, teaching, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus. Though we are not large in population, we are mighty in heart, dedication, and support. If you are looking to join a welcoming place filled with kinship, love, and truth then you are in the right place. 

The most important thing to know when joining a church is to be led by the Holy Spirit of God. Spend time by attending services and classes, ask questions, and get to know the people. Then ask Jesus to give you a sign if it is the right place for you to be. 

Make prayer apart of your everyday life. 

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." -Philippians 4:6 KJV

The Word of God says that we are to "pray without ceasing". That means all day, throughout the day prayer is acceptable. Pray when things are good, pray when things are bad. Pray for yourself, family and friends, community, strangers, and more. 

Prayer is the profound act of conversing with God, a sacred communion where we express our deepest hopes, fears, and gratitude. It is through prayer that we lay bare our hearts before christ, seeking guidance, and direction. Asking for God's help is an acknowledgment of our reliance on His grace, a humble plea for His divine intervention in our lives. In the quiet moments of prayer, we find sanctuary, reassurance, and the assurance that we are never alone.

May our prayers be a constant reminder of our reliance on God's unfailing support, and may we find comfort and empowerment in the assurance that He hears and responds to the cries of His beloved children.

The verses below suggest that regular engagement with God's Word is beneficial for spiritual growth, guidance, and living a life that pleases God. Daily study and meditation on Scripture is required in deepening your relationship with God and understanding His will for your life.

1. Psalm 119:11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

This verse highlights the value of storing God's Word in our hearts through regular study, which helps us to resist temptation and live according to His will.

2. Joshua 1:8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Here, Joshua is instructed to meditate on God's law day and night for success and prosperity.

3. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

This passage underscores the usefulness of Scripture for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, indicating its relevance for daily living.

By seeking forgiveness, renewing your mind, letting go of guilt and shame, seeking support, and focusing on God's promises, you can overcome your past and move forward in faith and freedom.

1 John 1:9 states, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God's forgiveness is available to all who sincerely repent and turn to Him.

2. Renew Your Mind: Allow God's Word to transform your thinking and perspective.

Romans 12:2 advises, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Fill your mind with the truth of Scripture and let it guide you in overcoming negative thoughts and behaviors.

3. Let Go of Guilt and Shame: Release the burden of guilt and shame by placing your trust in God's grace.

Philippians 3:13-14 encourages believers to forget what is behind and press forward toward the goal.

Remember that in Christ, you are a new creation, and your past does not define you.

4. Seek Support: Surround yourself with supportive believers who can encourage and pray for you. Galatians 6:2 instructs, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." Share your struggles with trusted friends or mentors who can offer guidance and accountability.

5. Focus on God's Promises: Meditate on the promises of God's Word and trust in His faithfulness.

Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds us, Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

Trust that God is capable of bringing about transformation and renewal in your life.

Yes, Fasting is an important spiritual discipline that can aid believers in seeking God's will, repenting of sin, experiencing spiritual renewal, engaging in spiritual warfare, and drawing closer to God.

1. Spiritual Discipline: Fasting is a practice of self-denial and discipline, often undertaken as a means of drawing closer to God and seeking His guidance.

In Matthew 6:16-18, Jesus instructs His followers on fasting, emphasizing the importance of sincerity and humility in their approach to fasting.

2. Seeking God's Will: In Acts 13:2-3, we see the early church leaders fasting and praying before making important decisions.

Fasting can help believers set aside distractions and focus their hearts and minds on seeking God's guidance and wisdom.

3. Repentance and Spiritual Renewal:  In Joel 2:12, the prophet calls for a fast as a means of returning to God with all one's heart.

Fasting can be a way to express sorrow for sin and a desire for spiritual cleansing and renewal.

4. Spiritual Warfare: Fasting can also be a form of spiritual warfare, as it can help believers overcome spiritual battles and strongholds.

Matthew 17:21, Jesus teaches that certain kinds of spiritual challenges can only be overcome through prayer and fasting.

Tithing is important because it is seen as a form of obedience to God's commandments.

In Malachi 3:10, it is written, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

This passage suggests that by giving a tenth of one's income to the house of God, individuals are demonstrating their trust in God's provision and obedience to His instructions. Additionally, tithing is viewed as a way to support the work of the church, enabling it to carry out its mission and ministry effectively.

Yes, it is highly recommended to get stronger and develop an intimate relationship with Jesus. Bible Study and Sunday School are places for growth and learning because it is an open space to ask questions, get clarity, share experienes, and receive/give encouragement and support.

There are many ways to connect within this virtual space. The most frequent would be joining on Zoom for Sunday School, Sunday Service, and Wednesday Bible Study. Other ways include joining ministries, attending classes, attending in-person events, and connecting with others through the directory.

Engaging in praise and worship is a way to honor and reverence God for His greatness, goodness, and sovereignty.

2. Expressing Gratitude: Praise and worship provide an avenue for believers to express their gratitude to God for His blessings and faithfulness.

Psalm 100:4 says, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Through songs, prayers, and expressions of praise, believers acknowledge God's goodness in their lives.

3. Drawing Near to God: Worship is a means of drawing closer to God's presence and experiencing His love and power.

James 4:8 encourages believers to draw near to God, promising that He will draw near to them.

Firstly, it serves as a community of believers who come together to worship and glorify God. 

Hebrews 10:25, it is written, Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

This passage emphasizes the importance of gathering regularly with fellow believers to encourage and support one another in the faith.

Secondly, the church family provides a place for spiritual growth and edification.

Ephesians 4:11-12 states, And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

We see that God has appointed various roles within the church to equip believers for ministry and to build up the body of Christ.

Third, the church family functions as a place of fellowship and mutual care.

Acts 2:42 describes the early church as devoted to "fellowship, and to breaking of bread, and to prayers." Through fellowship, believers are able to form deep connections with one another, share in each other's joys and sorrows, and bear one another's burdens.

Overall, the purpose of a church family, is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where believers can grow in their relationship with God and with one another, fulfilling the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.
